Securing a property management site during liquidation

Updated: December 19, 2025 | Written by: Bryn Taylor

Industry: Property management

Client type: A multinational company closing its UK operations

The challenge:

When this large organisation began closing its UK operations, it quickly attracted unwanted attention. Media coverage and on-site activity led to security risks – from unauthorised entry and theft, to verbal abuse of staff.

At this site, access control systems were already in place, but without a receptionist or on-site management, tailgating and unauthorised entry attempts were becoming a problem. The client needed a professional security presence to protect people and assets while allowing verified personnel to continue essential closure work.

Our solution:

Experienced on-site security

We deployed an experienced security officer to manage the main entrance throughout the day. Their visible presence immediately deterred attempts to enter without permission and prevented asset removal. The officer also handled any confrontational situations calmly, protecting staff from abuse and creating a safer work environment.

Verified access control

All visitors and contractors were verified before entry, ensuring only authorised individuals could access the building. Our officer worked closely with the client to maintain accurate access lists and manage documentation checks efficiently.

Flexible contract options

Because the company was in a restructuring phase, we provided a pre-paid, flexible contract that ensured reliable coverage without a long-term commitment. This gave the client vital protection while safeguarding our team and business operations.

The results

Prevented unauthorised entry and asset removal

Eliminated incidents of staff abuse at site entrance

Enabled essential closure work to continue safely
